Talk Therapy

Traditional therapy also know as "the talking cure", has been the prominent mode of therapy for the majority of western psychology's existence. I strongly believe in the effectiveness of this form of therapy. For many people this is the exact type of therapy they need. Talk Therapy will address the presenting issues in one's life, be it stress, substance use, relationship and family difficulties, troubles at work, etc. By having an attuned and non-judgemental therapist, one can begin to freely express themselves in ways they cannot in their everyday lives. This leads to tremendous relief and healing. Coping strategies will often be talked about, building you a psychological toolkit for handling difficult situations in life. Moving forward, goals will be set, and an effort will be made towards achieving these goals and experiencing lasting change.
