I consider myself an Integrative Therapist. Due to the immense complexity of the human being, one therapeutic approach can never fit all. With in-depth knowledge of many different theoretical modalities, psychological schools, spiritual paths, and therapy techniques I have the ability to customize treatment to each individual client.

I incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS) with Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, a somatic trauma healing modality.

I also draw from Somatic Experiencing, Hakomi Body-Centered Psychotherapy, Gestalt, Buddhism, the Diamond Approach work of A.H. Almaas and numerous psychological schools including: Psychodynamic, Existential, Transpersonal, and Jungian.

More About Me

From an early age I have always been curious about humans, wanting to know what makes us tic and wondering why it is we suffer so much.  I was also curious about the big questions in life such as: Who am I? Why are we here? What is the meaning of life? What is my purpose? Throughout my life I have also struggled with strong bouts of depression and relentless anxiety. While I had no clue what was in store for me, looking back it seems that I was primed to want to study psychology.

Out of what I believe to be divine happenstance, I found a transpersonal therapist with a spiritual orientation that ended up changing my life in ways I never imagined. I began dedicating myself to self-exploration, attending therapy weekly, studying Eastern Wisdom, and establishing a meditation practice.

I was beginning to understand my mind and my struggles, and beginning to find relief.

Along my own journey of healing and exploration I believe that I have learned and explored many themes that are universal to all people. For this reason, I believe that while you and I may not have experienced the same things in life, nor have the same exact struggles, through my own suffering and healing I can be a more empathetic and understanding therapist. I also can truthfully

say that there is a way out, that change is possible.
